While a resume lists education and work experience, a portfolio demonstrates creative skill set. One must be ready to answer many questions by employers. Be sure to do research on the company and have questions and answers ready in advance. Here are some interesting questions that I have come across so far while applying for jobs.
- What motivates you?
Jesus is my motivation in life. I am nothing without Jesus, as He is the author and finisher of my faith. Psalm 119:105 is my motto that Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. We are called to serve God through fellowshipping with others to share the truth of God’s saving grace and knowledge of the love of Jesus Christ. For God alone is worthy to be praised, all glory and honor belong to Him. Amen!
- Have you ever made a mistake? What did you do to resolve it?
Yes, I failed on projects, but this helps to build our character. It provides us the chance to step back and listen to God what He would have us learn from our mistakes. Before starting any project we should pray by asking for God’s favor on it. By building trust in our teammates we can accomplish goals. I have learned that there is no problem that God and a devoted team cannot handle. Tell me your problem and I will tell you that our God is bigger. I’ve have seen God do more than we can ever imagine. We must trust God, for He alone is worthy to be praised and is the God of miracles.
