My Christian Testimony

My Christian testimony is that I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at age 7 with the help of a teacher during Sunday School. I believe in the Trinity, being there is only one true God, which is our Heavenly Father God, who sent His only son Jesus Christ to die and rose again for us, and the Holy Spirit lives within us. We can communicate anytime to God through the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit. My walk with the Lord especially grew through my family’s Christian values and upbringing in the church, Pioneer Clubs, and youth groups. I strive to daily live by my favorite verse, which is “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” Psalm 119:105 (KJV).

We are called by God to boldly share God’s saving grace and the love of Jesus Christ with others. So by teaching the unsaved these words written in God’s Holy Word 1 John 1:9 (KJV) that, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” we expand His Kingdom. It is through our faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior that we gain the free gift of salvation. Our names are then written into the Lamb’s Book of Life, as this is God’s promise of eternal life to us.

Over the years, I learned that I am nothing without Jesus, for He is the Alpha and Omega, the author and finisher of my faith. My trust in God alone is based upon Jeremiah 29:11-12 (NIV) “11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”  My faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ continues to grow by studying the Bible through attending church and Bible studies regularly along with praying daily.
