What Must I Do To Be Saved?

There is a terrible time of great tribulation coming upon the earth in the near future. This time is God’s long-suffering time of the appointment of judgments upon the earth and specifically, the nation of Israel because “He (Jesus) came unto His own (the Jews) and His own received Him not.”  This rejection of God’s provision for their salvation – His Messiah – requires both His characteristics of love and justice must be judged in all fairness.

Because of this historic rejection, a great time of wrath is promised upon the earth. (as recorded in the Book of Revelation chapters 6-19)  You can be saved from this wrath to come by receiving God’s great gift of grace made available to you through His long-promised deliverer, His Messiah, Jesus the Christ.

This requires repentance (a change in direction of your life-from you to Him), acceptance of the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ who died in your place as the only worthy acceptable appeasement offered to a Holy God. He died in your place; thereby, giving you life-eternal life in the ever-presence of our creator and lover of our soul.

The Bible says, “If thou shalt confess (agree with God) with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him (victoriously) from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call on Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall  be saved.” (From the Letter written to the Church at Rome, as recorded in Chapter 10 verses 9-13)

Won’t you accept God’s great provision for your sin(s) now and begin living the victorious life even now while living here on earth? If not, why not? Make the greatest decision you will ever make in your entire life today. Pray to receive Him now, won’t you?
