God’s Peace

Do you feel like life’s storms are too overwhelming? Does it seem like you can’t ever catch a break?

Do you know there is a peace that surpasses all understanding? It comes from knowing God and that He will see you through anything. God is waiting to help and all you have to do ask for Him to bring calmness to the storm.

Jesus did this for the disciples in Mark 3:35-41 when a terrible storm came upon their fishing boat. Verse 39 reveals that Jesus got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He will do the same for you. There is nothing too big that God can’t do.

Here are some Bible verses about peace to help you get through your day:

• Job 22:21 Agree with God, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you.
• 2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
• John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

Lastly, know that I am praying Romans 15:33 upon you ”May the God of peace be with you all. Amen.”
