Showers of Blessings

Have you ever had bad weather damped your plans? Today, it is raining causing outdoor activities to be brought indoors or completely canceled. Yet, we need the rain for the grass and our gardens to grow. My guess is that the local farmers are happy for the rain to produce a good harvest for this year.

Don’t let the rain ruin your day, instead try spending more time in God’s Holy Word. Here are a few verses about how God sends ’Rain’ to actually helps us.

• Leviticus 26:4 Then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. (God provides food).

• Isaiah 45:8 Shower, O heavens, from above, and let the clouds rain down righteousness; let the earth open, that salvation and righteousness may bear fruit; let the earth cause them both to sprout; I the Lord have created it. (God provides righteousness).

• Ezekiel 34:26 And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing. (God provides blessings).

God says to be thankful in all circumstances including rainy days. Praying that God would satisfy all of your needs today. May God’s righteousness and blessings be with you always.
