Digital technology consumes our world. The courses I teach are about computer literac, which is defined as “the ability to use computers and related technology efficiently, with a range of skills covering levels from elementary use to programming and advanced problem-solving. By another measure, computer literacy requires some understanding of computer programming and how computers work” (Wikipedia, 2019).
Today’s students must not only know how computers work but also how to actually use one. Without up-to-date computer knowledge and good problem-solving skills, they will struggle to find gainful employment.
Try and see if you can pass a simple digital literacy test?
