Wednesday Wisdom

Have you ever been lost in the dark? The other night it was pitch black outside. While I was sitting on my back porch, I distinctly hear an owl in woods. We know that owls only come out at night and that it says ’hoo hoo’ to scare other creatures away. In comparison, for some people the darkness of the night can also be very frightening.

Today’s Wednesday Wisdom comes from Bible verse: Proverbs 3:13 Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding.

This verse reminds me that while many seek God’s direction, we don’t always follow it. We can easily become distracted and get lost in the world of darkness.

From this verse, we can only gain God’s wisdom, if we let God guide you out of the darkness. By understanding more of God’s Holy Word, we will be able to defeat evil and defend God’s promises.

Praying you to let God in and that He would lead you to wherever Christ can use you the most to grow His kingdom.
