Wednesday Wisdom

Are you wiser than a year ago? A few months ago? Or a few weeks ago? We are to seek godly counsel, listen to those who are wiser, and adhere to instruction.

Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. -Proverbs 19:20.

As a teacher you want your students to succeed. Before every test I do a review to help prepare them. Since I haven’t taught at certain campus gaining student’s trust can be interesting.

So, I try to reassure students that I am not the type of teacher that gives surprises. However, if a class is unruly, then that’s a different story. For some reason a surprise quiz or essay often wake students up and then they tend to buckle down for the rest of the semester.

Hoping tonight’s first exam goes well and that the students heeded my advice to study. Most of all, may they have enough time to complete their Word cover letter project, as time is shorter at this location.
