For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills. Psalm 50:10
This weekend we took a drive out in the country to have afternoon tea and lunch. The sunshiny weather was absolutely beautiful for being a late February day.
As we drove by a large grey wooden antique barn, I saw a herd of cows eating out in the field. I was reminded that everything we saw belongs to God. Whether it’s the farm animals in the fields, the birds of the air, fish in the sea, and even us that God made it all.
Psalm 50 ends with verse 15, “Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.” This verse teaches us that no matter what trouble comes our way, that God will provide, just like He does for the cattle on a thousand hills.
