Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul – 3 John 1:2.
Each of us are anxious about when our state will be allowed to open up. While companies need to get back to business and workers need to earning a living, it needs to be done slowly. I am glad to hear that NY city is taking more precautions by cleaning the subways and trains at night. I commend the police officers who are enforcing the rules for social distancing, because it is for everyone’s protection.
I have a few students who are in foreign countries and some areas do not have same type of health care available that we have in America. I am praying for my students and others who are suffering from coronavirus. I pray for those once recovered that they would be in good health going forward.
I pray for those serving on the front lines dealing with having to witness death every day. Unfortunately, this pandemic has caused some individuals to turn to suicide. I pray for their families left behind that God would give them peace and understanding. I pray those suffering from suicidal thoughts to reach out for help. The Suicide Hotline # is 1-800-273-8255. May they know that God loves them.
Most of all, I hope that my devotional inspires you to pray for others and that the Bible verse above finds you the days ahead continue to, Be in Good Health!
