Gone Fishing

He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. John 21:6

What a beautiful weekend for fishing. Isn’t amazing to know that God created so many different types of fish from minnows to sharks. People are either trying to collect, catch, or eat fish. I like to see it, as God providing for our needs.

If you give a man a fish, he will starve, but teach a man to fish then he won’t go hungry. Like the verse above says, we should not only hearers of the Word of God, but doers. We need to follow Jesus and His directions without hesitation. We also must remember to always thank Jesus for provision and protection upon our lives.
