Build A Bridge

Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety – Proverbs 11:14.

This pandemic is can causing our emotions to run high to where we might question whether we should we cry a river, build a bridge, or just get over it? We can sometimes get hurt by others without them knowing it. Depending on who hurt you will determine how you react. Do draw a line in the sand and stand your ground and fight? Or do you run, retreat, and flee from the situation?

God directs us to stand firm in our faith, but to let go and let God deal with it, which can be very difficult for some individuals. Sometimes it is better to not say anything, by giving both sides a cooling off time, and then reproach the situation calmly. Each side should be given time to speak.

First and foremost, we should seek God through prayer for His answer. If possible try to find a way to build a bridge, because you may really need that person to accomplish your goal or you may need that person sometime in your life. If you’re struggling or afraid, then be sure to reach out God for guidance in your decision along with your pastor, counselor, or close Christian friend that you do trust. Let God direct your steps!
