Not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock – 1 Peter 5:3.
Day 1 & 2 of summer vacation – goals accomplished extra sleep and joined the ranks of the unemployment line. Next figure out places to apply, but with lock down it’s darn near impossible to find any kind of college teaching job. I have been applying and get no response because nothing is open in the first place. So might as well see about other things to do.
I am reflecting on the Bible verse above which states to be an example for the flock. In other words the way I see it is to serve others, so they can see God in you. Like God says we are not to domineer over others, but to guide and instruct those who need help. Basically, simply put be like Jesus!
Since I knew the prison would be closed for teaching, I reached out I reached out to where I volunteered before. Happy to report that I am in talks for a part time job nearby. However, I praying for negative tests to return for those there. Until then, I am testing a computer demo out for the organization to get my feet wet with the software they used there.
So until I get the green light to go in, I am also planning on getting some painting done around house. Investing in your home is always needed and a good idea if you know what your doing, which if you ask the boys here they’ll say I don’t have a clue. Take pride in your work and others will see it.
