She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed – Proverbs 3:18.
I came home to find some tree limbs down. My guess is from a storm that must have occurred while I was away. These big fallen tree limbs reminded me of the verse above of how God’s Holy Word can impact our lives.
When we study scripture, then it takes root in our minds. Upon memorization, and recall, we can then apply the verses to any situation. Else without Jesus, we can easily backslide or become broken and bitter.
I pray that you will let God’s Word take hold of your life. May you grow in your faith, so that you may be called ‘blessed’. Let God rein over you and your storms. May God and others also be able to say “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
