In Chapter 2, John reveals how Jesus is with us here today. God knows everything and is everywhere. God is holding you and will carry you through the storm. The verses that stood out to me the most are 11 and 29, which both state If anyone has an ear, let them hear the Word of God.
If we remain faithful, God gives us eternal life after death. Nothing we do can earn salvation, as it is God’s free gift to us. We are to things for Jesus. We are also to keep our pastors accountable to the Word of God. Do not fall for those who are deceivers of the Word. Stay within the Bible. The Word of God is to stand firm, as it is the same through all generations.
We are all sinners and we are all equal in God’s eyes. Heaven is for everyone, but there is only one way there. God never leaves us nor foresake us. We need to stop trying to replace Jesus with worldly things. God knows our hearts and we need to stay true to Him. Jesus loves you. Make Jesus the center of your life.
