Yeah, all the student’s midterm grades are in, so half the semester is over! Two of my classes for SUNY Ulster FYE classes finished.
I just started teaching another FYE for SUNY Ulster and Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prisons. Week 1 they will discover general education offerings and the differences between a transfer and terminal degrees. Week 2 they will find out the benefits of education and what it could be like as an online student.
Because of covid, Hudson Link students educational experience is true distance learning, as content is emailed, copied, and printed to go inside the facility. Then, I will receive homework back via snail mail. If technology could be utilized more, as it would save NY State Corrections a lot of time, money, and trees.
Marist College’s my Digital Toolbox students are finishing up their creative logos with tag lines for their WordPress websites. Today’s newer web apps have become so advanced they’ll even create and design logos for you. My Technology students have selected their research topics and working on finding sources to use for their term papers. We will be reviewing types of networks this week. I am also in the midst of reviewing textbooks for next semester Mass Communication course, too.
MSMC technology students are working on PowerPoint training and we will be covering program and development apps this week.
