Yes, I qualified as a NRA Assistant Instructor for Pistols. My plan is to continue to gain more experience and then move up to certified instructor level. My NRA Counselor, Phil Scarano, was impressed with my teaching skills, so I got that part down. I was asked to attend another pistol course to get more practice with different firearms. I also want to see what I can do to improve my bullseye accuracy. Since nearby gun clubs are full, I am grateful for the Lloyd Rod & Gun Club to let me come live fire practice anytime on their outside range.
