God’s Protection

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. Psalm 5:11.

I am thankful for God’s protection upon during my vacation. Unfortunately, Bambi hit my car when I was returning home. I quickly called 911 to reach the PA State Troopers to go scrape the little deer off the interstate highway. I was more worried about the baby deer dying than my car. I am like out of all the cars and semi’s on the road, I am boggled as to, “Why did the baby deer have to hit my car?”

While the impact of the incident was quite scary, I am okay, my car is drivable, and the scratch near the rear driver’s side car can eventually be fixed. I realized that the car incident could of been much worse. God reminded me of verse above, that no matter what happens I still can rejoice in knowing God’s protection was upon me. What matters most, is that I got home safe and sound.
