Our Perfect Savior

Today’s church service was from Hebrews Chapter 2. In the first chapter of Hebrews it discusses who Jesus is. This chapter gives us a warning to pay attention to His Holy Word. It also shares about how angels are watching over us. We should not ignore God’s free gift of salvation. We as mankind need to hold Christ higher over everything else, even though we are separated from God. Sin has a way of causing disobedience. We need to heed this warning or be swallowed up by the world.

We should not want to escape God, but run to Him. God created everything under heaven. Verse 4 stood out the most because it informed us how God has shown us signs, wonders, and miracles through Jesus. We need to trust God will continue to do this on our behalf. In verse 7, we are reminded that God sent Jesus for everyone to be our Lord and Savior. Jesus suffered for our sins, so that we would believe in our Heavenly Father.

Though we are all sinners , God still forgives and loves us unconditionally. No one is perfect like Jesus. God gives new life through Christ Jesus. We need to remember we are children of God and made anew in Him forevermore. If you a believer, you are part of God’s family. We no longer need to fear death because God is waiting for us. God is the God of mercy and He alone is worthy to follow and be praised. Are you living for Jesus today?
