This week my web design class is having a guest speaker from IBM, Lorraine Trapani and IBM mascot Ai Jackie, who is from Guiding Eyes for the Blind pup. Lorraine will discuss their partnership and share about the amazing Ai smart collars, like Jackie wears, that IBM created in conjunction with North Caroline State college who helps to record and analyze the data.
They will share with the class about the new IBM Neurodiversity program and how Jackie is helping this new initiative. I am so excited because a group of my students are working on a website for Jackie. This week we are also having a time of show and tell to review their personal portfolio sites. I am looking forward to seeing what each one built to display their art work.
