But thanks be to God! He gives the victory through Jesus Christ – 1 Corinthians 15:57
Today’s Sunday service was from 1 Corinthians 15. This chapter was written by Paul, where he explains the plan of resurrection of Christ. We often do what we think is right, but it may not be what God wants us doing according to the gospel. Paul reminds us to wake up and to listen God’s message of salvation and that Jesus died on the cross for us. God loves us so much that He gave His only son Christ Jesus to save us.
We need to remember that no matter what happens God loves us, He has a plan for us, and God wants us to be with Him for all eternity. We are all sinners, yet God forgives us if we repent. Paul suffered greatly, but his faith never wavered. We, too, must remain strong in our faith until Christ returns. God is our all in all.
We need to avoid corruption and bad company, so that we do not slip away from Christ. Yet, we are to also minister to the unsaved wherever they might be. We will all fade away, but those who believe in God will be with Christ Jesus. We need to acknowledge that there is victory in Jesus, and Him alone.
