Praying for the Bronx

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life – John 3:16.

Heavenly Father,

We come to You, God, with heavy hearts on behalf of the fire victims in Bronx, NY. We uplift those families who lost love ones in devastating fire yesterday. We ask that You, God, surround them with your comfort and love. We also pray for those were injured during the blaze from smoke inhalation and any major burns that they would recover quickly.

May the necessary food, water, clothing, and shelter to be provided that is urgently needed. Thank you for keeping the first responders safe during the search and rescue efforts while in the burning building. Help provide the financial funds, so they can rebuild their lives within the community.

Most of all, may they know that Jesus loves them and that Jesus is with them each step way. Give them your peace and understanding in the days and years ahead.
