I hope everyone is enjoying watching the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. I am wishing my folks were here to root for the Americans to medal. Yet, the only thing I can think of is that it’s been 20 years since the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics ended, when my Mom’s medical beeper went off.
Our lives changed for the better, as she received the gift of life. She no longer needed to be tied to a dialysis machine. The good Lord provided her a great kidney that lasted the rest of her life. It is amazing how God made us interchangeable.
