The Study of Grace

Today’s sermon was from the book of Romans, The Study of Grace. The pastor shared 5 main points, which are the following:

1. Romans was written by Apostle Paul to share God’s grace with us. Chapter, History tells us 40% of the people were slaves in Rome.

2. The world is in constant chaos. Yet, God has the perfect plan for us. We can’t save ourselves only God can.

3. Jesus, is our beloved Lord and Savior. Jesus is all knowing. We are reminded of the lineage of Jesus through David to His resurrection.

4. Jesus is the son of God, who is all powerful.

5. Through Jesus we have the privilege to serve Jesus. As saints, we are called to share our faith.

The verse that stood out to me was 7: To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Grace – we are God’s riches at Christ’s expense. We are saved if we simply believe. Do you want God’s forgiveness? Reach out to know God’s grace to have His peace in your life.
