Week Three Feedback

Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. Proverbs 19:20.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of receiving positive feedback from my recent interview from one of the Deans at Marist College. While I didn’t get the part time job, I am more prepared for the next one. Feedback is important so one can be more prepared for the types of questions and answers any employer might ask.

Reflection: If one thing I have learned working in academia field is that there are always opportunities and to apply frequently because things change. I continue to challenge myself by teaching at various colleges and to step up to ask to teach different classes. Because the more you know the better, but it also takes connections. So take the extra time to network with your department and at special events.

Lastly, do not let any rejection hold you back from becoming who GOD has designed you to be. Instead look at it as a way to improve yourself and to gain godly wisdom. While God might of closed one door, I trust GOD to open a better one.
