This Tuesday is is Giving Tuesday, which is a very important day to so many nonprofits across our country. I like to share the reasons why I support nonprofits. Nonprofits only exists with our help whether it is through giving of donations or by volunteering time. One can help not just during the holidays, but throughout the entire year.
Consider giving this Tuesday to one of these charities or one that helps in your community. Make sure it is not just for break on your taxes, but because you believe in the company’s mission and vision. Most of all, give because you want to see them help others succeed.
Guideposts – helps others to share their faith and distributes the gospel globally.
Guiding Eyes for the Blind – helps visually impaired via trained guide dogs.
Hoving Home – helps women overcome addictions through biblical training and safe housing.
Hudson Link for Higher Education – helps incarcerated men and women through their college education and housing programs.
Unshattered – helps women overcome addiction by rebuilding their lives by giving them vital career and trade skills.
Thrivent – big “thank you” for your action teams program, which has enabled me to give back to those above.
