What does Hudson Link for Higher Education mean to me? This nonprofit organization means world to me. I had experienced great losses in my life prior teaching. Hudson Link gave me courage to give HOPE to Help Other People’s get their Education.
People are surprised when I state I teach inside correction facilities. They are like, “Aren’t you afraid?” I respond with the Bible verse that says, “Do not be afraid, as Lord God goes before you” Deuteronomy 31:8.
Teaching inside has given me more courage to face any fear or loss. My Christian faith is in anchored in Jesus, not the world. God has given me this amazing opportunity to bring my technology knowledge and skills to those who need a second chance.
I see Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prisons as an extended family who gave me HOPE, when I needed it the most. I am glad to be part of this community, which truly changes lives for the better.
