This Sunday’s sermon was from Isaiah 59. The Bible verse that stood out to me was verse 21, where God informs us of the His new covenant and that Holy Spirit lives within us.
Ever since Adam and Eve were exiled from the Garden of Eden, we live in a fallen world and therefore, we sin. Sin is a disease that simply doesn’t go away no matter how hard we try. Sometimes sin may seem that it’s unbearable or unbeatable. We allow ourselves to continue to be tempted by world.
What we need to know is that Jesus loves and forgives us. He accepts us sin and all. Jesus picks us up and dusts us off. We must remember that Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us.
People often mistakenly put their trust in the wrong people or things. What we need to do is to allow God remove the obstacles in our life. May this devotion reveal to you that Jesus is the only cure.
