Radiate God’s Light

Who is the sunshine of your life? Most will reply answering their other half or their children. Some might say a sibling or grandparent. It will depend on their stage of life and current situation.

Do you know there is another source of light, meaning God? The Bible states in John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

This verse specifically says that God is light. If we tap into God’s light along with His Holy Word and the power of prayer. Then, we will no longer walk in darkness, meaning sin.

I pray that you don’t hide the light. My hope is that you would develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

As followers of Christ, we are asked to share the gospel with others, so they too can be a light in this darkened world.

Let these Bible verses aspire you to radiate God’s light.

• You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:4

• But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7.

• For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6.

Knowledge Seeker

Do you see yourself as life long learner? Learning involves developing good listening and hearing skills. Being able to be both is challenging for some based on their environment and life experiences.

We don’t always take time to truly listen let alone hear what God is telling us. The Bible informs us in Proverbs 18:15 An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

As a believer in Christ, we should want to listen and hear what Jesus has to say about salvation and how to live a godly life.

I pray God leads you to become a knowledge seeker. We should not only be hearers of God’s Holy Word but wise doers. May this video inspire you today:

Stand by You

There is a new country song out entitled ”Stand by You” by Rachel Platten. The song lyrics mention, ”Even if they can’t find heaven, I’ll walk through hell with you”.

At some point in our lives, there may be some tough times and it may seem extremely difficult to keep going. Unfortunately, our friends and family may come and go, but know that God will always be there for you.

As a believer, I know God is right there with me no matter what the circumstance. Because of my Christian faith, I choose to Stand by God.

The Bible states in Proverbs 18:24 One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. And that friend is Jesus.

With all the technology we have these days no one literally found heaven. I certainly would choose to go to heaven than anyplace on Earth.

However, before you can go to heaven, you need to accept God’s free gift of salvation. First, you need to acknowledge you are a sinner, repent of your sins. Next, by accepting Jesus into your heart, you acknowledge the Trinity that God is the Heavy Father, who sent His one and only son Jesus Christ to save us, and that the Holy Spirit lives within you. Lastly, according to God’s Holy Word, you are then promised your one-way ticket to heaven. There is only one way to heaven and that’s through Jesus Christ.

And that’s my friends is how you find heaven.

Merry Christmas!

During you December you will find people shopping for holidays presents, radio stations playing Christmas tunes, houses decorated with colorful lights, and an even a Christmas tree shining through a window.

Yet, many are missing out on the true meaning of Christmas. For believers, it is the time to celebrate the birth of Jesus. We reflect on God’s love for us, as God sent Jesus, His one and only Son, to dwell among us. Because Christ died on the cross He took away our sins. By accepting Jesus into your heart, as your Lord and Savior, you receive the free gift of salvation. This means you are guaranteed to a one-way ticket to spend eternity with Jesus in heaven.

Remember, it is more than okay to say Merry Christmas because Jesus is the true reason for the season.

A Prayer for California

Please join me in Praying for California:

Heavenly Father,

We are asking You, God, to comfort those who are grieving over lost loved ones due to the horrific fire in California. Give Your strength to the firefighters and first responders, and especially for those rescue crews who are searching through the rubble.

Help our nation to provide the necessary finances and more resources to those who are displaced to be able to rebuild their lives. Grant them peace and understanding in the days and years ahead to come.

Restore their Hope in You, God, the author and finisher of our faith. May they draw ever closer to You, Father God, during their time of need.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
