History of Computers

So how do you teach students about the Internet if they have no access to it?

First, by reviewing the timeline of the: History of Computers.

Second, discover who created the Internet and what it was created for: History of the Internet

Third, how to properly find scholarly sources on the web for doing research. Things to consider when reviewing books, journal articles, and websites include the author, audience, content, date, and relevancy.

This week’s MS-Word assignment for students is to create an MLA research paper on a technological invention using the Encyclopedia. Students are learning in their English classes how to properly source citations and create a Works Cited page. My task to show them how to do it digitally.
