MIS Week 12

This week my MIS students are learning more about supply chains and enterprise applications systems. They are also discovering the importance of customer relation systems.

Students discovered how the internet has changed how companies conduct business via e-commerce and m-commerce. They learned the difference between push and pull marketing systems. Today’s digital companies must have a website, use social media, send emails, and tap into offline avenues to generate revenue these days.

Students will need to answer these forums questions:

• Many hospitals are lacking ventilators and personal safety equipment due to the pandemic. How can we overcome the current supply chain issues in regards to the lack of medical supplies in the future?
• Many small business were forced to closed, while some remain open. What are some creative ways that businesses changed due to the pandemic to avoid closure?
