The Finish Line

Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. 2 John 1:8

Yes, the Spring Semester is finally over, as I turn in grades this weekend. I actually enjoyed reading their in-depth technology term research papers and watching their creative presentations and resume videos. The most popular topic for students was about the ethical and legal issues with employee monitoring, as well as, emerging technologies in the workplace.

It was interesting to see how students incorporated their perspective of how this health crisis has greatly affected global and domestic businesses, our current financial status of our economy, and our need for federal, state, local governments intervention and cooperation to provide for our society.

Overall this semester, the students have risen above the challenges from the pandemic that was placed upon their college education. This is one year that many students shall never forget as their educational journey was sidestepped. In the end, they shall be stronger from the unexpected experience. For I envision some students so wanting to literally run across the finish line at graduation to receive their degrees, but can’t.
