James 5:19-20 My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
Did you grow up knowing Jesus, but now have forgotten Him? Or do you find yourself drifting away from God? Why do we backslide? We easily fall into temptation to follow the way of the world. We think no one will know or that it is okay to continue to sin in God’s eyes. Sometimes the wrong things will consume us.
In James Chapter 5, he reminds us that God comes into our heart by giving us the Holy Spirit and the free gift of salvation. once we are saved we cannot lose our salvation no matter what. But we must stop our wicked ways in order for God to work in us.
How can we fight sin? The only answer is through prayer and repent of our sins. Anyone of us can stray, but God is always faithful and unforgiving. If we want to avoid the lake of fire if he’ll, we need to strive to live a godly life. As a believer we need to stay in communion with God, else run the risk of falling away. Stop drifting in the wilderness, run back to Jesus.
Be a soul saver by helping to others turn to Jesus. Because both hell and heaven are very real. Not everyone is going to go to heaven, because the road is narrow and only a few find it. Stop breaking the laws of God and start living for Jesus. You have a choice, so be sure it’s the right one.
