Today’s Sunday Service is from the second half of Hebrews 3, which the Holy Spirit warns us against unbelief in God. We need to stop running away from Jesus and instead run to Him. Many of us often ignore what Jesus has for us. The Holy Spirit tells us not to harden our hearts, but to grow in our faith. We need to believe what God is going to do. Those who do not believe will not be with Jesus in heaven.
The verse that stood out to me was 13, were the Holy Spirit states that we need to encourage each other. By bringing others to Christ, it is a way to stay strong in our own faith. We need examine our own hearts to remove the bitterness, greed, and unforgiveness that can harden our hearts.
In this chapter the Holy Spirit reminds us of how Moses let God’s people to the promise land. We must stop questioning God, but remember that God is always with us. God is preparing heaven for us and we must accept the new covenant that Jesus is our Lord and Savior, through our belief in Christ.
This chapter also reminds us to stay holy for Jesus. God will provide for you and me. Stop complaining and get good at believing in Jesus! While we might know God and His works, we must recognize His ways are better than ours. We need to stop wandering in the wilderness and take up our cross and follow Jesus!
