We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure ~ Hebrews 6:19.
Today’s church service was from Hebrews 6 where we learn that we should not ignore God. The verse that stood out to me is verse 10, where the author informs us that God is not unjust God, but a just God. In this chapter we learn that God remembers what we do for His people. God encourages us to help others, as well as, share the message of salvation, so more people be the kingdom of God.
We are to be a doer of God’s Holy Word and live for Christ by ministering to the unsaved. We are to know there are better things waiting for us on the other side. We should not ever stop believing Jesus is our Lord and Savior and will return for us. The things of the world will fade away. God will accomplish His agenda is in us. God gives us several examples in the Bible who followed Jesus and we are to do the same.
We are to stay connected to Jesus and to those in the church. Another verse that stood out is 19 where God reveals that Jesus is our hope as an anchor for our soul. God’s promises are true. His son Jesus died for our sins. We only need to take hold of God’s hope and believe in Jesus. God wants to bless you. Who is your anchor?
