Today’s church service was based on Psalms 139 by a guest pastor from TLC in West Park, NY. This Psalm was written by David and entitled for the great musician. Basically God knows everything about us. There is nothing that God doesn’t know about whether it’s good or bad. What we do and how we act will ultimately affect others. We cannot hide our sins from God. This is because God is all knowing.
We need to work off our faith not feelings. We humans run by our senses. God does not work that way. God looks at our hearts. We are precious in His sight. No matter how much we mess up, God loves us. We are nothing without Jesus! You cannot fool God. God doesn’t look at the outside of us, but He sees us as we are.
This Psalm reminds us that God isn’t out to destroy us, but to save each of us. God isn’t finished with us, if we let Him lead us. The Lord desires us to follow Him and wants us with Him in heaven. We will go through crisis, but God will see us through it. Let God rule in our hearts always.
